Painting on hotel, café and restaurant bills.
Cathy liked frequenting cafes and travelling with writer and father of her son, Beppe Sebaste but she wouldn't go anywhere without her pencils, felt-tips and pastels. She started by painting restaurant tablecloths, then even the smallest bill in a café until she was painting magnificent hotel bills. It became a favourite game and a book project that remains unfinished.
"Travelling is a feast, especially stopping somewhere to sleep and eat. The ritual of having a meal is a sign of one's quiet respect, the humble and happy gesture with which you reach your hands across the table and cover the white table cloth with shapes and colour."
